12 pigeons from our loft are participating in Perpignan this year. It mainly concerns pigeons that flew Barcelona or Pau earlier this year. Given the weather forecast for the entire weekend, it promises to be a fast race!
The pigeons were released in Perpignan on Friday morning at 7:30 am. The first arrivals soon made it clear that the earliest pigeons would mainly be found on the east side. The first pigeon, 702-19, arrived at 20:49 and wins 61st national. This champ wins his 3rd prize in the international races in 2021. He was already our first pigeon from both Pau and Marseille. In 2020 he also flew a first prize locally from Narbonne and 6th provincial as a yearling. After his arrival we had to wait until just before 8 am for the second pigeon. A good hour later, 7/12 are back home.
